How it Works

The plan says what. Readiness says how hard. Ravns builds your training around the one weakness holding your goal back, then reads your body’s overnight data every morning to decide how hard today should be. A flock of specialist AI agents runs it all behind one coach. This page walks through the machinery, top to bottom.

Ravns at a high level

You pick a goal. The one decision you make.
Ravns finds your limiters. The biggest weaknesses holding that goal back, read from your real data.
The plan trains those weaknesses. Built around your real gyms and days; what's left off is deliberate.
Each morning, your body sets the intensity. Overnight data becomes green, amber, or red.
Food targets follow the work. More fuel on hard days, protein held constant always.
Every day

How Ravns works on a daily basis

Restin · Readiness
Readiness: Should you train?
Green
Fully recovered. Attack the limiter; this is the day it moves.
Amber
Partly recovered. Do the session, but cap the intensity: progress without the cost.
Red
Run down. Protect the day, come back to the limiter stronger tomorrow.
Why great numbers don't guarantee a greenThe colors are Restin's verdict, not your watch's score. The morning after a max effort your heart numbers can look great; heart rate and HRV bounce back overnight. But muscles, tendons, and joints recover far slower, and no watch sees them. So Restin weighs yesterday's work alongside the numbers: green only shows when both agree, and a great-looking morning after a max effort still comes out amber or red.

You hit the hard days genuinely fresh, and never dig a hole on the easy ones.

Trainin · The limiter
The limiter: What you should train.
It bends, it doesn't driftA rough week reshuffles the work, but the plan keeps aiming at the same limiter, so a busy month doesn't quietly turn your plan into a different, easier one.

You show up to one clear job a day: the one that moves the goal.

Also daily · Foodin fuels the work
Foodin · Fuel

Food targets follow the training.

Most apps give you one fixed calorie target. Ravns doesn't, because your days aren't fixed: Foodin raises energy and carbs on hard training days and eases off on light ones, while protein stays constant; that's the floor your muscles rebuild from, whatever the day.

Hard daymost fuel
Easy dayless
Rest daybaseline
Protein floor: held constant whatever the day; carbs flex above it.
Matched to the goal A runner fuels the training; an athlete on a GLP‑1 holds maintenance, never a deficit stacked on top of the drug. Into a race, carbs load as the taper cuts volume.

The Architecture: One coach, a flock behind it

Each raven goes deep on one job: some are AI consultants Hugin calls on, others are deterministic engines running on your phone. They propose, Hugin decides, and you only ever hear one voice.
