Terms of Use
Last updated October 17, 2026
These terms cover using Ravns, the iPhone app published by Uxsherpa LLC. Using the app means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
Train at your own risk, and use your judgment
Ravns is a training and fitness app. It is not medical advice, and it is not a doctor. The readiness score, the plan, and anything the coach says are information to train by, not a diagnosis or a treatment. Talk to a physician before starting a training program, especially if you have a heart condition, an injury, are pregnant, or have been told to limit exercise. The app asks a short health screen for that reason and holds back maximal sessions until you say a clinician has cleared you.
Stop if something hurts. You are responsible for the training you actually do.
What is free, and what the subscription adds
Readiness, workout logging, your history, and a monthly allowance of coaching questions are free, with no subscription and no account.
The subscription adds the training plan — the periodized block that rebuilds as your life and recovery change — and lifts the monthly limit on coaching.
Subscription, billing, and cancelling
- Ravns offers an auto-renewing subscription at $14.99 per month or $134.99 per year (US pricing; local prices vary).
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Apple handles the transaction; we never see your card details.
- It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period.
- Manage or cancel it any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: request a refund from Apple. We will help you chase one if something went wrong.
- If a subscription lapses, your data stays yours: readiness, history and logging keep working, and the plan you already have stays readable.
Your account and your data
Ravns signs you in with an anonymous device identity — no name, no email. That keeps setup to three taps, and it has one consequence worth knowing: a subscription is tied to your Apple ID, not to your Ravns data. If you reinstall, use Restore on the plan screen to bring your subscription back. What we store and why is in the privacy policy.
Fair use
Coaching costs real money to run, so there are limits to stop abuse rather than to ration normal training: a generous daily ceiling on coach messages, and a monthly allowance on the free tier. Do not resell the app, scrape it, or automate it. We can suspend an account that is doing that.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always says when it last changed. Price changes follow Apple's rules: you are told, and an increase needs your agreement before it takes effect.
The legal bit
Ravns is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, Uxsherpa LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from using the app, and total liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States.
